"Gosh, thanks so much for encouraging me and for the nice complement! I realized today, that if a Professional Athlete is taking your class, then I may be a “bit” out of my league!!! But I am going to stay strong, keep pushing and I’m not giving up…Thanks so much for believing in me.
I’ve done tons of cardio – 60 minute workouts of step aerobics and kickboxing etc…that I can do…Your workout is such a challenge, since I’d like to build my core strength and flexibility, obviously my weaknesses (I guess as compared to the other athletes in the class). Thanks again for believing in me!"

The first class when you said athletes ready, I looked around at all the athletes. Because, here it goes, I have never played a team sport. In fact, my dad is a doctor, and in middle school and high school, I would beg him to write me doctor’s excuses so I wouldn’t have to take gym class. I just couldn’t see the value in messing up my hair or breaking a sweat. It really wasn’t until fairly recently that I realized I wasn’t exactly a spring chicken anymore, and I started to correlate exercise to my overall health. I have been into yoga for years, but this intense, dynamic, anaerobic, challenging activity—I never imagined myself doing. But, it kind of just hit me one day. Everyone is at work, worrying about their 401K, how much the company is matching, and what they are contributing. But, what good is a 401K when you can’t tie your shoes and have crippling medical issues? Your 401K starts with your health, and as the wedding is just three weeks away, I realize that I owe this lifetime commitment to myself, my soon to be husband, and my hopeful, possible future children.
